Good arguments from theory and practice

The close link between scientific research and practical experience deriving from the cluster projects characterize the key competence of the initiative. The rapid information transfer of current research findings to existing clusters, cluster managers and corporate networks is an ultimate feature. Project management skills, technical expertise and experience in various industries enable the execution of ambitious projects.

Starting with the first contact, the cluster initiative supports prospective members by giving best-practice examples and offering innovative workshop concepts. Specially tailored individual trainings for cluster managers are available, including valuable suggestions and recommendations for the implementation of cluster work, regardless of a manager’s experience in cluster work.

Existing networks are analysed and studies are made, for example in applying for promotion. Independent analyses of a cluster’s structure reveal weaknesses in the network as well as sources of sustainable optimization. Moreover, clusters are supported throughout their entire life cycle from initiation of the growth phase to the implementation of a sustainable organizational structure. In addition, a guideline is provided that facilitates the formulation of the vision and mission.
