We want to establish Southern Hesse as a location for companies and research institutions working in mechatronics.
The focus of the mechatronics cluster in Southern Hesse is to intensively exchange information and experiences. The network established by the HESSENMETALL cluster initiative in 2010 offers a platform for dialogue based on mutual trust to companies working on the interface of mechanical and electrical engineering.
Keeping in touch with innovative companies and research institutions, communicating with scientists and experts, as well as factory tours contribute to the cluster members’ advantage. Meetings of the work group referring to Human Resources and Technology are aimed to compensate the skill shortages and to encourage co-operation with research institutions. Maintaining and developing our location – that’s our goal.
